Hello!
If you'd like the read the ramblings of a photographer on the go you're in the right place..... I'll try and devote as much time to it as Bridget did to her diary.... watch this space!
My week….
Eight days.... five fantastic weddings.... two beautiful churches.... five glorious venues.... hundreds of images..... two sore feet!

Kirsten & Mike’s wedding
With midweek weddings on the increase it's not unusual now to find myself at a stunning venue in the week instead of the studio, and last Thursday's excursion was to Braxted Park in Witham for Kirsten and Mike's wedding. And what a fantastic turn out there was for the occasion, with guests arriving from across the world to share their special day (no matter what day of the week it was!!) and soak up the early September sunshine.
I never cease to be amazed at the attention to detail Braxted put into their weddings and Lorraine, who heads up the team there works tirelessly to make sure everything runs smoothly on the day. She's also a marvel at conjuring up the likes of emergency hair grips and curling tongs for those last minute bridal hiccups, as well as fixing the odd buttonhole flower which has been nervously broken by the groom!

Cerena & Dennis’ wedding
After the deluge we had on Saturday I wasn't holding out much hope for dry wedding day weather for my bride and groom on Sunday. But as we all know this is England and we should be used to expecting the unexpected as far as the weather is concerned. So Cerena and Dennis woke up to a beautiful sunny day and a stunning venue to show it all off with. Gosfield Hall is one of my favourite wedding venues and is steeped in history. Not only does it have grandeur and elegance both inside and out but the staff there are always friendly, welcoming and reassuring - which always helps when you're suffering a little with those pre-wedding nerves. Cerena, on the other hand, had no such problems. I've rarely seen a more chilled out bride - and she was completely unfazed by the events of the day, including a couple of wardrobe malfunctions and a race against the clock to make it down the aisle in time! Kept us all on our toes that did! Here are some of my favourite photos from the day:
